Invixium is extending its reach to the Dominican Republic thanks to a new distribution agreement with Warecomm. The development continues Invixium’s recent international expansion efforts, and should generate more interest in the company’s biometric access control solutions.
The deal between Invixium and Warecomm came about through a meeting in Las Vegas. As a distributor of security technology, Warecomm believes that it will need to provide biometric options to remain competitive in the modern technology landscape. The company is attempting to meet that demand through the partnership with Invixium, and will operate as the exclusive distributor of Invixium’s products in its native country.
The Invixium portfolio includes both the IXM TITAN and the new IXM TFACE biometric terminals. Both terminals are designed for access control and timekeeping applications, and are durable enough for deployment in a wide range of industrial and outdoor settings. The TITAN verifies the identities of registered employees with facial recognition, and also offers mask and temperature detection to help organizations enforce COVID-19 safety protocols. The TFACE, meanwhile, supplements facial recognition with fingerprint biometrics.
Both the TITAN and the TFACE are compatible with Invixium’s IXM WEB and IXM Mobile software, the latter of which enables the use of digital credentials. Warecomm cited Invixium’s ability to deliver effective solutions during the pandemic as a primary factor in its decision.
“Working with Invixium was the logical next step in Warecomm’s evolution,” said Warecomm President Lucile Houellemont. “With their modern approach to access control and their culture of innovation, I know I can give my customers throughout the Dominican Republic the level of security and safety that is required at this time and in the coming years.”
“The pandemic created a new global need for touchless security solutions that keep properties safe,” added Invixium President and CEO Shiraz Kapadia. “I couldn’t be happier that Warecomm has trusted us to be their partner for the future.”
Warecomm is one of several companies that have signed a distribution agreement with Invixium in the past few years. In September, Invixium expanded to the Egyptian market through a partnership with EMS, and it has also entered into a similar arrangement with Gallagher Security.
