Toronto-based touchless biometric solutions company Invixium has announced the opening of its U.S. Headquarters in Norwalk, CT.
According to Invixium, the expansion to the U.S. come as a result of increasing demand for its biometric authentication solutions. Norwalk was specifically selected as the site of the office for its central location in the northeast of the country and due to Invixium’s history with Connecticut, which was the site of its 2018 victory at the VentureClash competition.
“Invixium USA provides a dedicated base in a prime location from which we can better serve the needs of new and existing customers,” said Shiraz Kapadia, CEO & President of Invixium. “Combined with our recent introduction of innovative touchless and temperature detection biometric devices, this expansion uniquely positions Invixium to provide businesses with the safety and security technologies they need right now.”
The office will house new marketing and sales team hires, aimed at furthering business opportunities in the Americas. The company also reports that Invixium USA is poised to support the launch of its two newest solutions and updates — new temperature capabilities for the TITAN biometric terminal, and an update to the TOUCH 2 biometric device making it a completely contactless authentication solution — announced just last month.
Invixium also recently reported that it has seen a ‘significant’ increase in demand for its contactless biometric solutions due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the concern of increased transmission via commonly contacted physical surfaces.
