Invixium Pushes IXM TFACE for North American Audiences

Invixium is looking to make inroads in the North American market with its new IXM TFACE access control solution. IXM TFACE debuted in January at the Intersec 2022 conference in Dubai, and then made its way to North America with a showcase at the ISC West event in Las Vegas back in March.

In terms of utility, the IXM TFACE offers support for four different authentication factors, two of which are fully biometric. The terminal comes with built-in RGB and infrared cameras to support facial recognition, and a 500dpi optical sensor for those who would prefer to use their fingerprints. The solution also supports standard PIN codes and mobile credentials that can be stored on a standard smartphone.

Organizations that want to take advantage of the facial recognition option can store the information of up to 25,000 individual users, which is to say that the TFACE is robust enough for large-scale enterprise deployments. The terminal can identify registered users in less than a second with one-to-many facial recognition, with liveness detection to guard against various forms of spoofing. The device offers timekeeping utilities in addition to basic access control, and runs on an Android operating system with Invixium’s IXM WEB software to promote interoperability with other systems.

Other features include a Time of Flight sensor and a two-way intercom that allows security staff to communicate with someone at the door. Both TFACE and its predecessor, the IXM TITAN, also come with mask detection capabilities.
