Plurilock Enhances Behavioral Biometrics Tech in Q4’20 Platform Upgrade

Plurilock has announced a Q4 upgrade for its enterprise-focused authentication platform.

According to the Vancouver-based tech startup, the Q4’20 update delivers an optimized version of Plurilock’s behavioral biometrics system. The update reduces the amount of data needed for the continuous identification of users, and it enhances the AI system’s machine learning automation, which means that it can “achieve mature behavioral-biometric profiles for user identification more quickly and with less input from users and administrators.”

That’s a considerable achievement at a time of growing enthusiasm about behavioral biometrics in the digital security space.

The platform update also introduces new Plurilock mobile apps for both Android and iOS, allowing users of Plurilock’s ADAPT multi-factor authentication solution to perform step-up authentication on their mobile devices using Plurilock-made apps.

Meanwhile, the Plurilock DEFEND solution now supports Windows and Mac OS proxy environments, and the overall platform now features a new cloud server architecture. The Q4’20 update also delivers a new client support portal for clients.

“Based on feedback from our clients over 2020, we identified new opportunities for improvement and executed on them,” explained Plurilock CEO Ian L. Paterson. “We believe that this product release will enable us to achieve new levels of enterprise effectiveness.”

Plurilock will roll out the Q4’20 platform update in phases, with the company anticipating that it will reach all clients by the middle of January, 2021.
