Plurilock Launches Latest ADAPT MFA Solution Featuring Behavioral Biometrics

Canadian device-free authentication specialist Plurilock Security Solutions has announced the latest release of its multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution, Plurilock ADAPT, featuring wider integration, and behavioral biometrics via machine learning for enhanced security.

ADAPT eliminates the need for one-time passwords (OTP), devices for authentication, mobile phones and other factors that are typical for MFA, while still allowing organizations to have secure MFA at login prompts. This new release is compatible with most corporate and enterprise systems, and offers support for Microsoft Active Directory Federation (ADFS), API-driven integrations, and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) and OpenID Connect.

“What we’ve heard from clients is that they love ADAPT and want to be able to integrate it more quickly and broadly across their ecosystems,” said Ian L. Paterson, CEO of Plurilock. “So we got to work and added that capability [and] ADAPT is now easily deployable across most industry-standard security stacks.”

Though the core technology at the heart of ADAPT has been optimized with this latest release, Paterson emphasizes that it still relies on Plurilock’s experience in machine learning, which allows ADAPT to recognize users via behavioral biometrics. By analyzing each individual user’s keyboard and mouse patterns, as well as their location data and network habits, ADAPT is able to assign unique identifiers for authentication purposes based on behavioral biometrics data that is imperceptible to humans.

The latest release of ADAPT for Summer 2020 is available now through Plurilock’s network of channel partners and resellers.
