Dominique Cerutti has officially been named as the newest Member of the IDEMIA Board. His appointment is effective as of July 1.
Cerutti brings more than 35 years of experience in technology and business leadership to the role, having held multiple CEO positions over the course of his career. He spent more than 20 years at IBM, where he served as the CEO of IBM Global Services for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (amongst other positions), before eventually moving on to Euronext, where he spearheaded a successful IPO as the CEO and the Chairman of the Euronext Managing Board.
More recently, Cerutti worked as the CEO and Chairman for the Altran group, holding both titles from June of 2015 up until the company’s acquisition by Capgemini in April of 2020. Altran grew from 20,000 to 50,000 international engineers under his direction, and reached revenues of up to €3.2 billion.
IDEMIA is hoping that Cerutti’s expertise will help guide its strategic vision as the company looks to expand internationally. Cerutti currently serves as the Chairman of the Adarma Board. He is also the former President and Deputy CEO of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
“Dominique is a very seasoned leader with a demonstrated track record in transforming and growing large-scale international technology businesses,” said IDEMIA President and CEO Pierre Barrial. “He will be instrumental for the Group moving forward.”
“I couldn’t be more honored and thrilled to be joining IDEMIA,” added Cerutti. “I look forward to offering strategic guidance and contributing to making the world a safer place.”
The news comes shortly after the release of IDEMIA’s latest white paper, which highlights some of the advantages of digital identities, and of IDEMIA’s Mobile ID solution in particular. In the meantime, the GSMA has cleared IDEMIA’s eSIM card for use in IoT devices.
