Artificial intelligence and facial recognition technology company CyberLink has announced the schedule for its new webinar series, FaceMe: AI & Face Biometrics for Safe, Exciting New Experiences.
Consisting of five separate webinars, the series will focus on the latest trends in artificial intelligence and edge-based technologies, specifically looking to address how businesses and brands can adapt to the changing needs of consumers.
“As the world continues to emerge through the pandemic, every industry has undergone and will continue to undergo enormous change – from consumers seeking new, safe shopping experiences, to organizations adapting to provide safe yet unobtrusive environments,” said Dr. Jau Huang, CEO and Chairman of CyberLink. “Not only must businesses adapt to meet changing consumer needs and regulations for health and safety, but they must also still be able to deliver personalized experiences.”
Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus the vast majority conferences around the world have been steadily replaced with a stream of webinars and online digital events.
Though the pandemic has impacted most every sector of the global economy, some areas, including biometric technologies, have seen tremendous growth during the past several months. Biometrics-based solutions have emerged to combat everything from the increase in cybercrime owing to the rise in remote work, to the new challenges of making a business safe for employees and the public.
Attendees of this webinar series will have the opportunity to learn about the various advancements in AI-driven biometrics and associated technologies, and learn how to accelerate their own deployments across IoT and AIoT platforms.
Among the topics covered by the series agenda are how AI and face biometrics can help make indoor spaces safer during COVID-19, how AI can help make airport and public transportation healthier, and how contactless biometrics can make for a more comfortable and less obtrusive experience in hotels and restaurants.
The first instalment of the FaceMe: AI & Face Biometrics for Safe, Exciting New Experiences web series is on October 6, with subsequent events taking place until December 9. Registration is free.
