Speech and authentication solutions provider LumenVox has announced the release of Version 8, its latest suite of biometric authentication technologies.
Version 8 uses artificial intelligence and biometrics to simplify customer-agent interactions in call centre environments using biometric authentication, allowing a customer’s identity to be validated securely by voice.
The upgrades found in LumenVox’s Version 8 include a faster and more sophisticated core authentication engine, capable of automatic fraud scanning using passive integration and built on the company’s latest Deep Neural Network (DNN). It is pitched as an improved web service platform catering to mid-sized call centres and capable of handling hundreds of calls at once.
Version 8 also includes the LumenVox Agent Desktop Portal, which automates the caller identity verification process and provides an interface for the call centre agent.
Lastly, the LumenVox Fraud Scanner provides agents with fraud alerts and automatically matches voiceprints against a fraudster watchlist on a constant 24-hour basis.
