ID R&D has been listed as a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s 2020 Market Guide for User Authentication. This is the second time that Gartner has named the identity verification specialist as a Representative Vendor in the report.
“We are honored to be recognized once again in Gartner’s Market Guide for User Authentication,” said ID R&D President Alexey Khitrov. “Many authentication solutions are far from convenient, and this puts both the enterprise and end user at risk. ID R&D products enable stronger security and protect against fraud with significantly lower customer effort.”
ID R&D is best known for is face and voice authentication solutions, which can be deployed across a number of physical and digital channels. The company is also the developer IDLive Face, a popular passive liveness detection solution that achieved ISO 30107-3 compliance at the beginning of the year. IDLive Face can be integrated into other facial recognition systems, including those of recent customers like TECH5, Hive, and RelyComply.
Gartner’s endorsement comes as ID R&D hones its focus on Latin America. The company announced that Juan Carlos Tejedor is signing on as the its new Vice President of Sales in Latin America. As VP, Tejedor will be asked to leverage his 18 years of experience in the biometrics industry to advance the company’s prospects in the region. Tejedor previously served as the Director of Sales for HID Global, with prior stops as VP of Sales for Eastern Golden Systems and Director of Business Development in Latin America for L-1.
