Acceptto has integrated with Apereo’s Central Authentication Service (CAS) in an effort to deliver a more comprehensive single sign-on solution. Acceptto is a behavioral biometrics specialist and the developer of the Continuous Biometric Authentication platform, which will now support multi-factor authentication and passwordless QR authentication thanks to the CAS arrangement.
As with any single sign-on solution, Acceptto allows users to access multiple applications with a single login. After that, Continuous Biometric Authentication will initiate a step-up authentication request if it detects any anomalous behavior.
“Most CAS solutions remain reliant on binary authentication such as passwords, 2FA, MFA and Biometric,” said Acceptto CEO Shahrokh Shahidzadeh. “Acceptto is the first to offer a no-password authentication process through behavioral continuous authentication, allowing organizations to track and monitor application behavior at runtime.”
Acceptto’s Continuous Biometric Authentication tech covers enterprise workstations, IoT devices, and mobile and web applications. In the case of web applications, it also enables authentication without giving the application access to a user’s personal credentials.
The news comes shortly after Acceptto’s Biobehavioral tech received FIDO2 certification from the FIDO Alliance. The Continuous Biometric Authentication platform has since been given a similar stamp of approval from Citrix.
Acceptto previously launched its behavioral biometrics solution in November of 2018.
