Prove Selected for World Economic Forum’s Unicorn Innovator Community

Prove, the digital identity and authentication company, has been selected to join the World Economic Forum’s Unicorn Innovator Community, an invitation-only program for privately held, high-growth technology companies valued above $1 billion.

The WEF Unicorn Innovator Community selects members for their potential to address global challenges through breakthrough technology and their capacity to influence future industry standards and policy frameworks. Members engage at major WEF events including the annual Davos meeting and regional summits. The community has attracted multiple identity and verification companies, including Sumsub, which joined in 2025, and Socure, which joined in December 2025.

Prove is the maker of Phone-Centric Identity, a multi-signal authentication approach that uses years of accumulated behavioral, device, and telemetry data tied to a phone number to authenticate individuals in real time. The company’s platform is trusted by 19 of the top 20 U.S. banks and thousands of enterprises globally. The WEF selection follows Prove’s unified identity platform for AI agents, launched in April 2026, which positioned the company as a trust infrastructure layer spanning human, business, and AI agent identities.

The recognition reflects Prove’s prominence as an industry voice on AI-era fraud, reinforced by Prove’s 2026 State of Identity Report, which found that 88 percent of organizations expect AI-driven fraud to surge and that 65 percent have no comprehensive plan to defend against it. The report also found that humans correctly identify deepfake videos only 40 percent of the time and that 2.2 billion digital identities have been compromised globally since 2022.

The WEF community selection builds on a product push into the agentic era that began with Prove’s Verified Agent for agentic commerce, which cryptographically linked human identity to AI agent actions. Prove has also pursued a deepfake-resistant verification partnership with AuthID, combining biometric authentication with phone-centric identity signals.

Prove is headquartered in New York and was founded by CEO Rodger Desai.
