Prove Convenes Executive Advisory Board to Examine Trust Infrastructure for AI Agents

Prove has launched an Executive Advisory Board focused on the trust and accountability challenges created by AI agents that can browse, decide, and transact on behalf of consumers. The board held its first meeting in New York with executives from banking, payments, commerce, compliance, and AI-native companies.

The group is intended to help Prove assess how identity, fraud prevention, and transaction accountability should work when the actor initiating a transaction may be autonomous software rather than a person directly operating a device. Prove said the board will examine how enterprises should assign responsibility when AI agents act in real time across commerce and financial services environments.

Members include leaders from Tools for Humanity, Bilt, Global Payments, Barclays, FanDuel, Visa, USAA, Citizens Bank, TD, Binance.US, Synchrony, and Care.com. The board is scheduled to convene formally twice a year under Chatham House Rules, with a mandate to stress-test assumptions, surface emerging threats, and shape Prove’s product roadmap.

Adi Marom, Prove’s chief customer officer, said AI tools have lowered the cost of impersonation through synthetic voices, faces, and identities. She said Prove’s work is based on signals tied to historical human digital behavior, which the company argues are harder for AI systems to replicate.

Karan Puri, AVP and head of product for enterprise digital at TD, said the board will give industry leaders a forum to discuss identity, fraud prevention, and digital commerce. The board’s membership gives Prove input from institutions that handle consumer authentication, payments, claims, compliance, and high-volume online transactions.

The advisory board follows Prove’s launch of an identity platform for people, businesses, and AI agents, which positioned persistent identity as a trust layer for agentic commerce. The company has also been extending its identity infrastructure into financial workflows, including a Velocity partnership for enterprise stablecoin payments and an Ownera integration for tokenized asset transactions.
