Ownera Brings Prove Identity Verification into FinP2P Tokenized Asset Network

Ownera, the UK fintech behind the FinP2P tokenized asset network, has integrated Prove’s identity verification and authentication tools into its SuperApps Platform, letting financial institutions on the network reuse a single set of identity controls across tokenized asset issuance, distribution, trading, and settlement. The companies described the arrangement as a native integration into FinP2P, rather than a bilateral connection between two institutions.

FinP2P is open-source financial market infrastructure that Ownera positions as a way for banks, asset managers, and other institutions to move tokenized securities across multiple blockchains and traditional systems with atomic settlement and shared compliance. The company says the network handles more than five billion dollars a month in trading volume. The SuperApps Platform sits on top of FinP2P and gives connected institutions access to shared services, including identity, without each pair of counterparties having to build a custom integration.

Prove’s contribution is identity verification and authentication. Once a counterparty is verified through Prove inside the SuperApps Platform, that identity assertion can be reused across the workflows the platform supports, including primary issuance, secondary trading, settlement, and collateral management. The companies frame the result as reusable, privacy-preserving identity for institutional counterparties in tokenized finance, rather than a fresh identity check at each step.

“Identity and authentication are exactly the kind of capability that should be deployed once and shared across the network,” said Ami Ben David, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ownera, casting the integration as a deliberate move away from bespoke per-institution onboarding. Fernando Castellanos, Global Head of Digital Assets and Sponsor Banks at Prove, said the integration gives institutions identity assurance that carries through the lifecycle of a tokenized transaction.

The integration sits at the intersection of two trends the identity field has been tracking: the move toward reusable, high-assurance identity credentials for regulated workflows, and the application of those credentials to tokenized capital markets, where counterparties need to know each other across multiple chains and jurisdictions. Use cases the companies named include intraday repo, collateral mobility, and distribution across public and private markets.

The integration is available to institutions connected to the FinP2P network through the SuperApps Platform.
