Kami Vision will be introducing a slew of new features at this week’s ISC West event in Las Vegas. The company is best known for its computer vision portfolio, which provides businesses and homeowners with automated surveillance and monitoring capabilities.
The new features include video verification and various forms of event detection, all of which will help improve response times during an emergency. For example, the Fall Detection utility processes footage at the edge, and then sends an alert if an individual falls in a camera’s field of vision. Caregivers can then step in to tend to people as quickly as possible.
The people, vehicle, and animal detection feature will similarly send a notification when it notices movement on a video feed. The solution is compatible with the Kami Vision Alarm System, and each incident can be verified through an app or a monitoring service.
The Video Verification feature, meanwhile, helps users follow up on any notifications they do receive. To that end, the solution gives people access to live streams and video clips that can be used to confirm that an event has occurred. The tool also supports two-way audio to allow users to communicate with people on-site.
Finally, Kami Vision is rolling out a new Kami Cloud Video Management System (VMS) that will help people make sense of all of the information that comes in through the platform. The VMS can be deployed on IP surveillance cameras to analyze, sort, and store important footage. Users can then go through a web dashboard to view that record of events.
“We are thrilled to be back at events, exhibiting with our peers and sharing our solutions with security and safety professionals,” said Kami Vision CEO Yamin Durrani. “Our solutions are designed to simplify access and monitoring and deliver customers with the latest high-value home security smart AI detections for an affordable price.”
Kami Vision’s wares will be on display at Booth 23125 at the Venetian Expo for the duration of ISC West, which runs March 22-25. The company released a Doorbell Camera for smart homes in January of 2021, and has since partnered with DuploCloud to extend its services to small and medium-sized businesses.
