Kami Vision is looking to bring computer vision technology to small- and medium-sized businesses thanks to a new partnership with DuploCloud.
The latter offers a no-code/low-code DevOps platform that is designed to let SMBs easily develop apps that are automatically compliant with a wide range of cloud services and regulatory compliance regimes such as HIPAA and GDPR. DuploCloud calls its offering Infrastructure-as-Code, and its aim is to help smaller organizations benefit from the kind of cloud technology that can only be leveraged by larger companies.
The partnership with Kami Vision means that the letter’s computer vision technology will be offered through the DuploCloud platform, meaning that SMBs have access to an affordable development solution to build their own computer vision systems, tailored to their particular needs.
In a statement announcing the partnership, Kami Vision CEO Yamin Durrani explained that “for small businesses, this AI technology is traditionally inaccessible due to high cost and manpower required to manage a platform,” adding, “We are changing the way vision AI is designed and delivered with the support of a strong cloud platform in DuploCloud.”
“Kami Vision is an excellent partner as we both share the goal to deliver advanced technology that is easy to deploy and at an accessible price point,” added DuploCloud CEO Venkat Thiruvengadam.
Kami’s platform is designed to support a range of possible applications of its computer vision technology, including facial recognition. The company kicked off the year with the launch of a smart video doorbell that was designed to detect individuals at the user’s door, and to scan their faces.
