Jumio has launched Jumio Watch, a continuous identity intelligence product designed to monitor identity risk after onboarding rather than treating verification as a one-time event.
The product moves identity verification from a point-in-time check into a dynamic, continuously evolving intelligence signal. Jumio Watch analyzes identity signals on an ongoing basis to detect changes in risk long after the initial verification, with early studies showing up to a 25 percent increase in risk detection after onboarding.
When new intelligence indicates that a previously approved verification may now present risk, Jumio Watch proactively alerts customers to investigate and take action. The approach addresses a persistent gap in traditional identity verification, which typically only verifies users once at onboarding and does not track changes over time.
The launch comes as Jumio appointed Mark Lorion as its new chief executive officer earlier this month. The Sunnyvale, California-based company, which operates an AI-powered identity verification platform used across financial services, healthcare, and travel, has been expanding its product portfolio beyond document-based onboarding into ongoing risk intelligence.
Jumio Watch is available now, with additional capabilities planned throughout 2026 as the company continues to build out its continuous identity intelligence offerings. The product is positioned alongside the company’s existing verification, screening, and compliance tools.
The identity verification industry has increasingly focused on post-onboarding risk, as fraud patterns shift toward account takeover and identity manipulation after initial checks. Providers such as Sumsub and others have also expanded fraud detection beyond onboarding into ongoing transaction and behavioral monitoring. The FIDO Alliance’s recent standards push for continuous authentication reflects the broader industry shift toward persistent identity assurance.
