Invixium’s IXM WEB 3.0 software platform has received factory certification for compatibility with versions 8.2 and 8.3 of LenelS2’s OnGuard access control system through the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). The certification enables seamless integration of biometric authentication capabilities with the OnGuard platform, coming at a time when industry standards for cybersecurity compliance are becoming increasingly stringent, particularly in sectors handling sensitive data.
The OAAP initiative provides third-party manufacturers with API documentation and technical resources to develop interfaces for the OnGuard system. These interfaces undergo thorough testing to verify their reliability and compatibility within the OnGuard ecosystem, allowing users to integrate diverse security hardware and software solutions. This aligns with broader industry trends toward standardization in identity technology and authentication protocols.
“Invixium has completed required factory testing at LenelS2 to validate the functionality of its interface to the OnGuard system,” said John Marchioli, OAAP product management at LenelS2. “The interface allows flexible workflow configuration with any combination of access control parameters, including PIN, card, and dual biometrics like fingerprint and face recognition for ultra-high security.”
Shiraz Kapadia, CEO and President of Invixium, added, “We’re proud to be the first biometric solutions provider certified for OnGuard v8.3. This certification highlights our commitment to maintaining an up-to-date integration with the LenelS2 OnGuard system, ensuring that LenelS2 VARs benefit from a streamlined and efficient experience.”
Invixium, based in Ontario, develops biometric access control and workforce management solutions, specializing in touchless face recognition, multi-factor authentication, and temperature screening technologies. The company’s IXM WEB platform provides centralized management of access control data through intuitive workflows and data-driven dashboards. This development comes as organizations across various sectors are increasingly adopting multi-factor biometric authentication solutions to enhance security and prevent fraud.
