CLEAR Reports 41 Million Members as eGate Rollout Reaches 43 Airports

CLEAR reported first-quarter revenue of $253.0 million and said its identity platform reached 41.0 million total members, up 31.3 percent from a year earlier. The company also reported 8.2 million active CLEAR Plus members, 60 CLEAR Plus airports and 277 retail locations offering TSA PreCheck enrollment through CLEAR at the end of March.

The operational update gives a fresh view of CLEAR’s airport and enterprise identity expansion. The company said eGates have launched across 43 airports and remain on track for a network-wide rollout in 2026. CLEAR Concierge, a premium airport service, is now offered at 32 airports. CLEAR1, the company’s enterprise identity platform, delivered another record quarter, with bookings increasing about fivefold year over year.

CLEAR also reported total bookings of $291.7 million, operating income of $62.0 million and adjusted EBITDA of $80.6 million. The company raised full-year free cash flow guidance to at least $465 million and issued second-quarter revenue guidance of $268 million to $271 million. Those figures sit alongside the company’s airport automation and enterprise identity deployment metrics.

The update follows earlier signs of scaling across both consumer travel and enterprise identity. CLEAR’s platform previously reached 38 million members as its eGate network expanded to 37 airports, and CLEAR1 achieved FedRAMP In Process status at the Moderate level. The company has also moved into healthcare workflows through digital self-service patient check-in.

CLEAR’s airport eGates use identity verification to streamline passenger movement through controlled travel environments, while CLEAR1 applies the same trusted identity model to enterprise use cases. The first-quarter figures show the company continuing to build both sides of that model, with more airport gates, more enrollment locations and stronger demand for its enterprise identity product.

CLEAR is also expanding beyond a single airport-lane use case. TSA PreCheck enrollment locations, eGates, premium airport services, healthcare check-in and CLEAR1 enterprise deployments all rely on reusable identity infrastructure, but each channel creates a different path for enrollment, authentication and revenue growth.

CLEAR also returned about $56.4 million to shareholders in the quarter through dividends, distributions and share repurchases.
