Acceptto’s Continuous Behavioral Authentication platform has officially received Citrix certification. The behavioral biometrics solution has fulfilled the testing requirements of the Citrix Ready Program, and is now available on the Citrix Ready Marketplace.
For customers, the Citrix Ready designation indicates that Acceptto’s solution will be compatible with other products in the Citrix ecosystem, including the Citrix Workspace. The certification will make it easy for other companies to integrate Acceptto’s behavioral biometrics technology and add a strong layer of ongoing post-authentication security to their systems.
“The offering demonstrates our plans to work closely with Citrix partners and clients, through the Citrix Ready partner ecosystem, and provide the highest-level platform trust while minimizing friction for good users,” said Acceptto CEO Shahrokh Shahidzadeh.
“Acceptto’s solution has been tested and validated as Citrix Ready,” added Citrix Ready Director John Panagulias. “Offering password-less, context aware, risk-based authorization and post-authorization, its continuous behavioral authentication unleashes the power of Citrix while delivering a higher level of platform trusts.”
Acceptto is pitching its solution as a safer alternative to binary authentication methods like passwords and biometric modalities like fingerprint recognition, which do not offer any protection once the initial login has been cleared. The company’s Biobehavioral tech recently received FIDO2 certification, and is able to monitor a range of different behavioral factors to generate a risk score in real time and stop a transaction or bar someone’s access to a workstation, a database, or other sensitive materials.
It is also one of several solutions to receive Citrix certification (or leverage Citrix compatibility) in the past few months. Suprema ID’s BioMini SDK was declared Citrix Ready back in June, while SecuGen is now offering a free SDK plugin for Citrix-powered machines. The new plugin comes more than a year after the original SecuGen SDK Plugin for Citrix, which was released in 2018.
