Aware’s convention tour continued with a stop at the 2022 Identity Week Europe conference in London this week. The show ran from June 28-29 at the ExCel Convention Center, where Aware’s wares were on display at booth 720.
In London, Aware actively made the case for zero trust security principles. To that end, the company participated in several sessions over the course of the two days. Aware International Sales Director gave a presentation titled “Understanding the Requirements and Guidelines of Zero Trust” on June 28, and Sales Director Enrique Caballero expanded on that subject during a panel discussion the following day. The roundtable (titled “Zero Trust Protection: Best Practices and Biggest Mistakes”) gave guests more chances to participate and learn more about how they can implement zero trust security in their own operations.
For its part, Aware believes that biometric authentication is a key component of a good security setup. The company showcased its own Knomi authentication solution, which can verify people’s identities with face and voice recognition. The solution enables fully passwordless authentication, and comes with passive liveness detection to prevent fraud and guard against various forms of spoofing.
“Identity Week Europe has always been an important event for Aware and the identity community as a whole,” said Aware CCO Rob Mungovan. “Like the organizers of this event, Aware feels strongly about the need for digital identity and authentication solutions that put control back into the hands of users. Our products directly represent these long-held beliefs and we are excited to make them available for Identity Week’s attendees.”
Aware noted that the demand for effective security solutions has increased as fraud rates have started to climb in the past few years. The stop in London follows appearances at ID4Africa in Morocco and Celaes LATAM in Miami earlier this month.
