Aware is putting in an appearance at this week’s Connect:ID conference in Washington, DC. The event is now underway at the city’s Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Aware has set up shop at Booth 313, where it is showcasing its Knomi mobile access control solution. Knomi offers support for both face and voice recognition, and can be deployed as part of a contactless (and passwordless) authentication setup. The AwareABIS system for law enforcement and the BioSP workflow solution are also on display at Booth 313.
In the meantime, members of Aware’s executive team have been addressing the latest trends in the identity industry with presentations and panel discussions during the event. Tracy Hulver, the company’s Senior Director of project management for digital identity solutions, helped to explain why some regions are embracing remote onboarding and identity verification more quickly than others while moderating a roundtable discussion on October 5. CCO Rob Mungovan, on the other hand, will give a presentation on the NIST’s SP 800-63 digital identity guidelines on October 6.
“Connect:ID and Aware share a commitment to the adoption of trusted identity solutions, and we are very happy to be participating in this year’s event,” said Mungovan. “I am looking forward to discussing the latest digital identity guidelines with attendees and showcasing Aware’s suite of industry-leading digital identity and authentication offerings.”
As a company, Aware is hoping that Connect:ID will make people more aware of the latest biometric identity technologies, which will in turn boost adoption rates and give people more control over their identities. FindBiometrics is also present at this year’s Connect:ID event. Our team has been conducting interviews from the show floor to bring you the latest updates from the evolving world of digital identity.
