Veritran continues to strengthen the biometric capabilities of its Low-Code Platform. The Low-Code Platform debuted in 2019, and is designed to make it easier for enterprise clients to build their own custom-branded applications with secure biometric onboarding.
To that end, Veritran partnered with NEORIS to add facial recognition to the platform when it was first announced. The company then teamed up with FaceTec in May of 2021, before releasing its own Face Identity solution in October of that same year.
Now Veritran is joining forces with Innovatrics to integrate the latter’s powerful biometric suite into the Low-Code offering. Innovatrics is perhaps best known for its facial recognition technology, though it also offers highly-rated fingerprint and iris recognition solutions, and is one of only a handful of developers to have submitted all three modalities for NIST evaluation.
The arrangement will allow Veritran to deliver a wider range of biometric options to clients looking to secure their onboarding applications. Veritran is still placing a particular emphasis on facial recognition, noting that it is one of the fastest and most user-friendly forms of identity verification. However, the company specifically mentioned Innovatrics’ fingerprint tech, and believes that more options will give enterprises more flexibility during development.
“A cornerstone of Veritran’s mission is providing companies with secure and high-performance digital solutions with outstanding user experiences,” said Veritran Corporate Business EVP and Head of Global Alliances Omar Arab. “I’m pleased to partner with Innovatrics to start offering their biometric solutions and related biometric services to our clients around the world.”
Veritran’s client roster includes organizations in both the public and the private sectors. The company is especially active in the financial industry and in retail, where secure and fast identity verification serves as a crucial trust foundation for any and all business transactions.
