Veritran’s Low-Code Solution Gets Face Identity Capabilities

Veritran is expanding its portfolio with the release of a new Face Identity solution that will allow customers to add facial recognition capabilities to their own applications. The company unveiled the solution at Money20/20 in Las Vegas, and is offering demonstrations at booth 4511 throughout the event.

Face Identity is fully integrated with Veritran’s Enterprise Low-Code Platform, which was built to make it easier for businesses to build their own branded applications. The Platform minimizes the amount of time needed to bring a new app to market, while still ensuring that a business’s digital channels remain secure.

The introduction of facial recognition will further enhance the utility of the Platform. Face Identity can enable biometric identity verification during onboarding, and then for ongoing authentication once registration is complete. In that regard, Face Identity will allow people to log into their accounts more quickly, and can be used as proof of identity during account recovery or when completing a transaction.

According to Veritran, Face Identity is especially good at determining one twin from another, and analyzes traits like skin texture and eye reflection to provide customers with greater identity assurances. The company believes that the solution will have potential applications in a number of different industries, but will specifically be targeting customers in the retail, healthcare, and financial sectors.

Veritran integrated facial recognition technology from FaceTec into the Low-Code Platform earlier in the year. The company is hoping that its portfolio will help support businesses that are looking to move forward with their own digital transformations.
