ULTRALOQ Launches Wallet-Key and Fingerprint Smart Locks Alongside UWB Model

ULTRALOQ has introduced three smart locks with distinct ways to enter a home: a hands-free model that detects an approaching authorized phone, and two models that combine mobile-wallet keys with fingerprint and PIN access. The new Bolt Mission, Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro are available through the company’s online channels and Amazon, with Home Depot online sales planned for October.

Bolt Mission uses Bluetooth Low Energy to discover a nearby device, ultra-wideband radio to measure its position, and radar to sense movement. ULTRALOQ says its local decision logic can distinguish someone arriving from outside from movement inside the house, so a door does not open merely because an authorized phone is nearby. The Xthings Home app runs in the background, allowing the owner to keep the phone in a pocket or bag. The company lists the deadbolt at $299.99.

Bolt Pro takes a different approach. It is an Aliro-certified deadbolt that accepts a tap from a compatible phone or wearable holding a digital key in Apple Wallet or Samsung Wallet. Aliro is an open standard for mobile access credentials. The lock also accepts a fingerprint, PIN, app command or physical key, giving residents and visitors alternatives to a wallet credential. ULTRALOQ lists Bolt Pro at $269.99.

Latch 5 Pro brings the Aliro wallet-key option to a lever-style lock for doors that do not use a conventional deadbolt. It also offers fingerprint access for regular users and PINs for guests or temporary users. Its listed price is $249.99. Unlike those two models, Bolt Mission uses phone-based approach detection rather than a fingerprint reader.

All three models are Matter-certified, allowing integration with compatible smart-home platforms. ULTRALOQ says Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro can also trigger Samsung SmartThings automations when a door unlocks, such as turning on lights. Household members can hold separate digital keys for the same lock in Samsung Wallet.

The model rollout follows ULTRALOQ’s earlier Aliro certification. Other access providers have also begun adding Aliro credentials to existing access systems, although this launch concerns residential locks. ULTRALOQ says the new collection can be ordered online now.
