“…the TSA is preparing to open a temporary enrollment center near Pennsylvania’s Arnold Palmer Regional Airport next week.”
As the weather cools down and the holiday travel season heats up, the Transportation Security Administration is looking to get more people enrolled in its TSA PreCheck program.
By submitting certain biographic and biometric information in advance, TSA PreCheck registrants are able to take advantage of expedited passenger processing at airports across the country. It offers some extra convenience for participants, and at the same time it can help to reduce passenger volumes at busy airports; so naturally, the TSA and its partner, IdentoGO, have sought to get more people signed up during the busiest travel periods of the year, with the latter having opened several temporary enrollment centers this past summer.
Now, the TSA is preparing to open a temporary enrollment center near Pennsylvania’s Arnold Palmer Regional Airport next week. The center will be open from November 26th to 30th, 8am to 5pm each day, with a one-hour lunch closure at noon. The TSA is inviting travelers to set up appointments online, completing the 10-minute pre-enrollment process to ensure that the in-person portion goes as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Clearly, speed and efficiency are key priorities for the TSA and its PreCheck program – and for the growing number of travelers who are taking advantage of expedited biometric screening at the airport.
