Acuant has joined forces with Trustopia to provide enterprise customers with more comprehensive identity verification and screening services. To that end, Trustopia will integrate Acuant’s Trusted Identity Platform to provide large organizations with more insight into their potential hires.
Trustopia currently offers background checks and screening services to help enterprises vet new employees during the hiring process. The platform is designed to be compliant with the different privacy and security regulations that employers may encounter in different jurisdictions and industries, and will cover critical information such as an employee’s work status, criminal record, and credit score, and whether or not they have a driver’s license.
Acuant, meanwhile, will help with onboarding, and support on-site and remote identity verification. The company’s suite of document and facial recognition solutions compare a selfie (with liveness detection) to the photo on an official government ID, while simultaneously confirming that the ID itself is legitimate. The Acuant portfolio includes the IDscan, AssureID, and FaceID solutions.
“Through our partnership with Trustopia we are helping businesses make better, faster, safer screening decisions,” said Acuant President and CEO Yossi Zekri. “Trustopia is innovating the people screening space and bringing together the best technologies to effortlessly automate and manage all screening requirements in one simple interface.”
The announcement comes only a few short weeks after the Ceevo Group adopted the Trusted Identity Platform for customer onboarding. Acuant previously upgraded its document recognition and liveness detection capabilities in the fall of 2019.
