“…US citizens and residents who have signed up for TSA PreCheck will be able to breeze their way through security screening while making their way to board flights on Swiss International Air Lines.”
Swiss International Air Lines has become the latest foreign partner to sign on with the Transportation Security Administration’s PreCheck biometric pre-screening program.
The airline’s participation means that US citizens and residents who have signed up for TSA PreCheck will be able to breeze their way through security screening while making their way to board flights on Swiss International Air Lines. By registering their biometric and biographic information in advance, TSA PreCheck participants are eligible to avoid hassles like removing shoes, laptops, belts, and so on during passenger processing.
In announcing Swiss International Air Lines’ participation in the program, the TSA noted that it now has the support of 54 domestic and international air carriers. Other international partners include Air France, Air Serbia, British Airways, Finnair, Lufthansa, Korean Air, Sunwing Airlines, and Porter Airlines, among others.
The TSA’s expedited screening lanes are also now available at over 200 US airports, further underscoring the growing reach of the organization’s biometric pre-screening program.
