South Korean biometric security specialist Suprema, Inc. has announced that in a survey of over 500 respondents comprised of security industry participants and end users, it has been named the top brand for access control management software and mobile access solutions.
The respondents to the survey conducted by A&S Magazine were made up of systems integrators, distributors, consultants and end-users in a variety of verticals. They were tasked with selecting the top brands in the access control management software, mobile access, and wireless locks categories, with Suprema coming out as their top choice in the first two.
“We believe that partners and customers are recognizing Suprema’s continuous effort to provide partners and customers with flexible, convenient and secure solutions, not only in the field of biometric access control terminals, but also in software platforms and services,” said Hanchul Kim, the Executive Vice President of Suprema Inc. “Suprema will continue to strive to exceed partner and customer expectations, establishing a strong presence as a total security solutions provider,” Kim added.
Among the reasons cited for selecting Suprema as their first choice, the respondents pointed to the compliance capabilities of its solutions — like its BioStar 2 web-based authentication solution — with measures like Europe’s GDPR and other cybersecurity standards.
Additionally, respondents noted that they looked at a brand’s performance, ease of use, and its compatibility with various phone models and transmission technologies.
The accolodates come following what was a busy and successful 2020 for Suprema, during which it celebrated its 20th anniversary, held its first month-long virtual showcase (Suprema Connect 2020), and made the A&S list as one of the Top 50 Global Security Companies for the tenth consecutive year.
