A&S Magazine has once again recognized Suprema with a spot on its annual list of the Top 50 Global Security Companies. Suprema made the list for the tenth consecutive year, continuing a streak that dates all the way back to 2011.
The A&S Magazine list is based on sales results. Suprema ranked 33rd on the list overall, and was an impressive 3rd in the Entry Systems category, trailing only Assa Abloy and Allegion. The company’s 2020 highlights include the debut of its FaceStation F2 Fusion Multimodal Terminal, as well as a Thermal Camera and a new Mobile Access platform. All three solutions have helped meet the demand for contactless authentication options during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are proud to have been included in [the] Top 50 global security companies in ten consecutive years by A&S Magazine,” said Suprema CEO Young Moon. “Suprema will continue to innovate and pioneer to further strengthen our position as an industry leader.”
Moon recently discussed the future of contactless biometrics in an interview with FindBiometrics, noting that COVID-19 has accelerated digital transformation all over the world. In September, the company launched a month-long virtual event to showcase its various biometric products. It has since partnered with DVS in an effort to expand its customer base in the United Kingdom.
