Suprema is celebrating its 20th year of operations. The company has grown at a CAGR of 20 percent since it was founded in 2000, and now boasts a sales network that spans across 140 countries and more than 1 billion users.
According to Suprema, 16 percent of its yearly sales are invested in research and development, while 40 percent of its staff are currently engaged in some form of R&D. The company is obviously hoping that those efforts will drive further growth in the coming decades.
“We would like to give special thanks to all our partners and employees who have made this possible,” said Suprema Founder and Chairman James Lee. “Everyone at Suprema is ready to lead through our next 20 years.”
Suprema has released a new purple and burgundy anniversary emblem to commemorate the occasion (and its accomplishments).
The company recently unveiled the latest iteration of the FaceStation facial recognition terminal at the INTERSEC 2020 event in Dubai, which was one of the last major events to take place before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the global convention schedule. Suprema is also hoping to extend its reach in Africa after hiring a new Sales Representative for the region at the beginning of the year.
