Suprema has partnered with Verkada to integrate biometric security with cloud-based enterprise video and access management. The collaboration links Suprema’s biometric readers and controllers with Verkada’s Command platform, enabling organizations to manage doors, cameras, and user identities through a single cloud interface.
This partnership follows Suprema’s launch of its BioStar Air platform in May of this year, which provides cloud-native management of biometric devices. The new integration reflects Suprema’s strategy to expand cloud capabilities and enhance enterprise security infrastructure.
According to the companies, the integration will allow customers to manage Suprema devices directly from Verkada’s Command dashboard. While Verkada’s existing system already enables correlation between door events and video footage for native devices, the integration with Suprema is expected to extend similar capabilities, providing real-time visibility of access events alongside associated video evidence once fully implemented.
Organizations operating multiple sites or hybrid workplaces are among those likely to benefit from the integration, which reduces the reliance on local infrastructure by moving device management and data processing to the cloud. Verkada’s Command platform is already known for consolidating video surveillance, environmental sensors, and access control into a single interface, and the addition of Suprema’s biometric devices expands those capabilities for enterprises seeking biometric security as part of a broader physical security strategy.
The integration also supports Suprema’s expanded hardware portfolio, including its recently introduced CoreStation 20 access controller and DI-24 door interface module. These devices are designed to integrate with cloud architectures and offer flexible configurations for enterprise deployments. Both products are supported under Suprema’s CLUe API, the same connectivity standard enabling the Verkada integration.
