Socure Takes Growth Investment at $5.2B Valuation and Buys Agentic Fraud Platform Fravity

August 28, 2026

Socure has taken a strategic growth investment that values the identity verification company at $5.2 billion, and has acquired Fravity, a platform that automates fraud, risk and compliance operations.

Summit Partners led the investment, with participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Wells Fargo, Docusign and others. The round combines primary capital with a secondary tender offer for existing employees. Reuters and Crunchbase News put the raise at $156 million, an extension of the company’s Series E.

Socure said it closed the second quarter of 2026 with $364 million in total annual recurring revenue, 63 percent year-over-year ARR growth, 133 percent net dollar retention and 0.01 percent logo churn across more than 3,000 customers. International volume has gone from near zero to a double-digit share of the network over the past two years.

Fravity’s capabilities will be delivered through RiskOS, Socure’s orchestration and decisioning platform, under the name RiskOS_Agents. The two companies already share enterprise customers running both platforms in production, and the founding teams behind Socure, Fravity and Effectiv, which Socure rebranded as RiskOS, have worked together for more than a decade.

Socure said RiskOS_Agents are wired into its proprietary datasets and models, and learn from roughly 10 billion decisions a year and millions of resolved cases across its network.

“Stopping financial crime in the age of AI is getting harder every day, and there is no version of this where institutions hire their way out of it,” said Johnny Ayers, Co-Founder and CEO of Socure.

Socure cited figures from the intelligence platform Liminal putting US spending on fraud, compliance and risk operations at $100 billion a year. Liminal also reports that 53 percent of banks spend at least an hour reviewing each alert, and that 37 percent manually review more than 40 percent of their alerts. Socure said AI-driven fraud attacks have risen 8,000 percent in the past year, pushing alert volumes up faster than teams can be staffed against them. Across Fravity’s existing deployments, Socure said the platform has cut cost per case by 80 percent, sped case resolution by up to five times and cut false positives by as much as 70 percent.

Andy Collins, a Managing Director at Summit Partners, said the firm sees identity as “the first perimeter for trust in an AI-driven economy.”

The company has been building out human-in-the-loop capabilities as well, adding a live-agent remote verifier in July for applicants its automated checks cannot clear. The company also holds federal identity proofing work, including a $163 million call order with Xcelerate for Login.gov.
