SecurID has unveiled a new Interactive Experience that was designed to help clients put together the custom access control system that best meets the needs of their organization. The Interactive Experience lets companies choose from several different authentication options, and configure the policies that will be used to handle any access requests.
For its part, SecurID believes that its technology can help businesses move forward with their cloud transformations. The company can enable passwordless authentication for remote workers regardless of their location, with full support for biometric authentication and FIDO protocols in addition to hardware and software tokens. Clients can also choose to take advantage of mobile push notifications.
The SecurID solution is based on a zero trust model, and assigns a risk score to each individual request to ensure a higher (and more dynamic) level of security. The platform is compatible with FIDO2 Windows 10, and that utility will soon be extended to FIDO2 macOS pending official approval. The Interactive Experience was released at the 2021 RSA Conference, where SecurID is spearheading various panels, keynotes, and OnDemand sessions as an RSA subsidiary.
“No matter where you work, what you do, or the size of your organization, nearly every business needs modern, cloud-based, passwordless solutions that support both born-in-the-cloud apps as well as legacy on-premise apps,” said SecurID COO and CRO Ted Kamionek.
“In the post-COVID world, Identity & Access Management is more critical than it’s ever been,” added RSA CEO Rohit Ghai. “Businesses everywhere are striving to develop greater resilience and adapt to new paradigms in how we live, work, and, play, and SecurID has the identity technology that organizations need to thrive in the digital world.”
SecurID recently announced a new Governance and Lifecycle Cloud solution that is slated to be released later in the summer. The company’s Access solution received In-process FedRAMP approval back in November.
