AU10TIX is moving forward with the official launch of its SECURE.ME remote onboarding solution. SECURE.ME uses face and document recognition to verify the identities of new customers, comparing a selfie of the user to the image on a photo ID. The solution is backed up with liveness detection, and can check for proof of address for additional security.
SECURE.ME can be modified based on an organization’s desired level of security. In that regard, businesses can choose to activate all of the system’s security features, or they can deactivate one or more layers to deliver a smoother customer experience in situations that carry less risk.
AU10TIX is hoping that the solution will help meet the growing demand for document-based identity proofing, citing a Gartner report that suggests that 80 percent of all organizations will be using documents in their onboarding workflows by 2022. The company also argues that SECURE.ME will improve conversion rates since it minimizes the amount of time needed to onboard a new customer. According to AU10TIX, its platform can verify someone’s identity in as little as eight seconds, and move them through the entire onboarding process in less than 90.
“With the acceleration in fraud due to the pandemic, it’s never been more important for businesses to have a secure, compliant digital onboarding and verification process while still providing a seamless experience for users,” said AU10TIX CPO Jonathan Wilson. “SECURE.ME provides our customers with a front-end white label solution to safeguard their business, with zero integration or engineering required.”
An earlier version of SECURE.ME was featured in the Kumbaya App for teenage gig workers. The platform offers support for multiple languages, and can track and analyze customer behavior to help organizations identify trends and potential pain points during onboarding.
In the meantime, AU10TIX appointed Carey O’Connor Kolaja as its new CEO in October. The company also joined the FIDO Alliance in April of 2020.
