Neurotechnology has launched Neurotechnology Solutions LLC, a US-based subsidiary that will deliver biometric identification and private AI deployments to North American customers with local support and dedicated engineering services. The new entity gives the long-established algorithm developer a direct commercial presence in the region.
The subsidiary is built around what the company calls private AI: systems that run on a client’s own premises or on dedicated GPU infrastructure under the client’s control, with data kept behind the customer’s firewall rather than processed in a shared public cloud. The approach is aimed at organizations in regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, and defense that want high-performing biometric and AI capabilities without handing sensitive data to a third party.
Neurotechnology Solutions offers biometric technology for customer onboarding, fraud prevention, and law enforcement, alongside infrastructure optimization and engineer-led consulting for complex AI deployments. Ken Nosker, who manages the US unit, summarized the pitch as “Your AI, Your Data, Your Servers,” describing it as a way to scale AI without losing control of sensitive information.
The parent company, headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, says its technology has been used in more than 140 countries, including national-scale identification programs. Its algorithms have performed strongly in independent government testing, ranking first in the NIST IREX 10 iris recognition evaluation and topping the NIST PFT III fingerprint evaluation. The company has also updated its MegaMatcher SDK with enhanced face, fingerprint, iris, and palmprint algorithms.
“For over three decades, we have been developing AI solutions that have been used in more than 140 countries,” said Irmantas Naujikas, a director at Neurotechnology. The company is positioning the US arm to meet demand from organizations that need strict data governance and want to avoid the security and compliance concerns associated with public cloud processing.
