Neurotechnology’s Palm Print recognition algorithm is one of the fastest and most accurate palm reader solutions on the market, suggest the latest test results from FVC-onGoing.
In a recent press release, Neurotechnology revealed that of the five most accurate readers, its algorithm was the fastest full and partial palm print matcher. The company also credited the strong performance to the lessons learned from its fingerprint recognition technology.
“Our expertise in fingerprint recognition carries over to palm print matching,” said Dr. Justas Kranauskas, the head of Neurotechnology’s biometric research department. “Though the palm print is a larger, more detailed recognition task, our experience allows us to bring the most accurate, highest efficiency application available to the palm print recognition market.”
Palm Print is available as part of Neurotechnology’s flagship MegaMatcher SDK, where it is bundled alongside a suite of other biometric algorithms in both the standard and extended SDK. The multimodal platform was upgraded at the beginning of the year, and includes iris, facial, voice, and fingerprint recognition technology.
