With the growing popularity of voice-based user interfaces and interaction, Sensory‘s technology has been widely embraced. It was in play through a number of offerings from partners like Amazon, Honeywell, Huawei, and Motorola at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, and, as Sensory CEO Todd Mozer points out, it has enjoyed a repeat performance at this week’s Mobile World Congress.
Speaking with FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill from MWC in Barcelona, Mozer points out that Sensory’s TrulyNatural, TrulySecure, and TrulyHandsfree solutions are on display across the show floor, with the latter voice control solution in particular being used by “literally dozens of different customers” at the event. Accordingly, Mozer says Sensory’s sales have been “going through the roof”; meanwhile, the company took the opportunity of MWC to unveil its 3D face authentication technology, which represents the next step in its biometric security solutions for mobile devices.
Turning to the year to come, the two discuss the growing prominence of AI in consumer products, and regulatory changes in Europe that are placing a stronger focus on on-device solutions, which is of course one of Sensory’s specialties – pointing to another strong year to come.
