Cloud-native digital banking provider Lumin Digital has partnered with ID Dataweb to introduce identity security protection for its customers. The collaboration will allow financial institutions using Lumin’s platform to integrate ID Dataweb’s identity verification services.
ID Dataweb’s platform offers a range of identity verification and security tools designed to support cross-channel oversight for digital interactions. It integrates more than 70 services and databases, providing features such as biometric verification, mobile carrier look-up, dynamic knowledge-based authentication, and fraud prevention.
The platform is used to detect and mitigate risks like identity spoofing and synthetic identities while supporting compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements, and is designed to provide secure identity verification across various touchpoints, including web, application, and call centers.
“Data protection is of the utmost importance to us — especially as individuals navigate this era of increased cybersecurity threats and fraudsters,” said Sean McElroy, Chief Risk Officer at Lumin. “Partnering with a comprehensive identity security platform like ID Dataweb ensures we provide our clients with best-in-class identity protection services available to protect their consumers and their organizations.”
ID Dataweb’s cross-channel identity oversight will enable Lumin to detect threats across multiple touchpoints, offering solutions to emerging risks like deepfake voices and synthetic identities. Lumin’s no-code platform, meanwhile, allows institutions to customize their workflows, enhancing their ability to meet specific verification needs and ensuring secure digital interactions in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
“Lumin Digital has always been at the forefront of user experience and security,” said Mark Dreaux, Director of Financial Services at ID Dataweb. “As a leading provider of call center identity proofing, our partnership is an ideal match.”
