Latest Update Lets BehavioSec Generate Behavioral Profiles Faster

BehavioSec is preparing to release the latest version of its BehavioSense behavioral biometrics platform. BehavioSense 5.4 will introduce several major performance improvements, including one that will dramatically reduce the amount of time needed to generate a new user profile.

In that regard, BehavioSense’s Accelerated Profile Training feature is able to enroll new users more than five times faster than the current iteration of the platform. The company achieves those speeds with a new inheritance technique that can predict future behavior accurately enough to create a functional behavioral biometric profile in only a single session.

BehavioSec has also updated the platform to better guard against mobile threats. The company noted that an increasing number of people are now using mobile channels to log into their various accounts, and has consequently tried to strengthen its ability to identify mobile bots, RATS, and fraudsters trying to open an account with a burner phone.

Other upgrades include an improved Doppelgänger Detection feature that will help track duplicate data, and a Predictive Modeling feature that will help BehavioSec spot new fraud trends as they emerge. The company can then create new rules based on those behaviors, and those rules can be applied to thwart similar attacks in the future.

“Our newest features respond to customer feedback and market demands,” said BehavioSec Products VP Jordan Blake. “These features add to our platform’s existing anti-fraud capabilities and are designed to solve the COVID-19 era challenge of accelerated digital transformation, online security, and privacy regulation compliance.”

BehavioSec encouraged organizations to implement behavioral biometrics in the early days of the pandemic, arguing that the technology would give them an effective way to verify the identities of employees logging in remotely. More recently, the company sponsored a Goode Intelligence report that explained how behavioral biometrics can help those organizations comply with international data protection regulations. The two companies will discuss the regulatory environment during a pair of webcasts this week.
