Jumio has garnered more recognition in the wake of its 2019 BIG Innovation Award. The company has announced that it has been ranked 29th overall – and 2nd in the Security category – on Fast Company’s 2019 list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies.
The Fast Company list features companies spread across 35 different industries around the globe, and recognizes achievements that are in some way shaping industry and culture. As a provider of identity and access management solutions, Jumio was distinguished for its pioneering selfie-based Jumio Authentication platform, as well as its augmented intelligence and machine learning capabilities.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the world’s most innovative companies,” said Jumio CEO Stephen Stuut. “We are constantly evolving our technology to stay ahead of the fraud curve and preserve the digital chain of trust between companies and consumers.”
“Established players are showing the same kind of nimbleness that we’ve generally associated with startups,” added Fast Company Deputy Editor David Lidsky.
Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies issue is now available online, and will hit newsstands on February 27. Jumio’s authentication solutions have been deployed all over the world, helping to combat digital fraud and giving customers more confidence in online interactions.
