Jumio has been recognized as one of the world’s trendiest Identity and Data Protection Providers. The distinction comes courtesy of CRN, which gave Jumio a coveted spot on its 2021 list of the 20 Coolest Identity Access Management and Data Protection Companies.
Okta, Thales, and Ping Identity were some of the other companies that secured a spot on the CRN roster. Jumio, meanwhile, is hoping that the accolade is a harbinger of good things to come in 2021, noting the identity verification market is expected to reach $15.8 billion within the next four years. The company brought in record revenues in 2020, and credited much of that growth to the steady expansion of its channel partner program.
On that front, Jumio named Okta as its Strategic Partner of the Year in the Americas, while 4Stop was its Strategic Partner of the Year for EMEA and Wipro was its Emerging Partner of the Year in both regions. Finally, ACA Pacific Technology and Netpoleon Solutions were (respectively) Jumio’s Emerging and Strategic Partners of the Year in the Asia Pacific territory.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the coolest companies in the IAM and data protection space,” said Jumio CRO Dean Hickman-Smith. “We’ve invested in our KYX Platform to enable our channel partners to rapidly expand their customer footprint by knocking down the biggest hurdles to digital transformation — the identity verification and eKYC processes.”
“The global data protection market is being driven by the growing volume of data being generated across various industries such as financial services, retail, and telecommunications,” added CRN. “Companies are looking for new technologies to protect this growing volume of data, which in turn is expected to positively influence the market over the next half-decade.”
Jumio launched its new KYX Platform in September. Banking CIO Outlook also listed Beam Solutions (which Jumio acquired that same month) as one of its top 10 KYC providers of 2020.
