John Walsh to Deliver Keynote at IDEMIA’s 40th Annual Security Conference

IDEMIA’s 40^th annual Public Security Users Conference is set to kick off on April 30^th, and the company is bringing in John Walsh to deliver the opening keynote and commemorate the event. Walsh is best known as the host of shows like CNN’s The Hunt, but he is also a staunch Victim’s Rights Advocate and one of the founders of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The conference itself will serve as a forum where guests will be able to discuss the impact of biometric technology on security and law enforcement. 

“This year’s Conference is a major milestone for IDEMIA as we celebrate 40 years of partnering with Law Enforcement agencies to help solve crimes by leveraging advanced technologies,” said Donnie Scott, IDEMIA’s Senior Vice President of Public Security for North America. “We’re looking forward to collaborating with our various public security customers to discuss how the latest technological advances can improve their mission outcomes.”

IDEMIA will be showcasing a collection of its biometric security solutions, including the Face Expert 2.0 facial recognition suite and the Case AFIS platform that makes it easier to identify latent prints. More recently, the company launched a new FAP 30 fingerprint scanner designed for police working in the field.

The Public Security Users Conference will run from April 30th to May 2nd in San Diego.
