“The Remo+ product brand’s proven track record of designing and manufacturing home security cameras is a perfect complement to Iris ID leadership in the biometric security industry.” – Mohammed Murad, Vice President, Global Sales and Business Development, Iris ID
Iris ID is looking to expand its reach to the residential security market through a new partnership with Olive and Dove, a Korea-based company known for its Remo+ brand of home security devices.
More specifically, Remo+ offers smart video doorbell solutions that allow users to see who’s at the door when the bell rings via a connected app. Iris ID is going to help bring these solutions to more consumers worldwide and to the North American market in particular, where it has exclusive distribution rights under the agreement.
“Success in the home security and other markets requires strong application software as well as a strong sales channel and service support resources, which Iris ID has globally,” explained Olive and Dove Company CEO Moon-Chul Lee. “This agreement allows Remo+ to concentrate on expanding its growing market int he Americas and beyond.”
While the expanded distribution channels represent the agreement’s key benefit to Olive and Dove in the short term, Iris ID global sales and business development VP Mohammed Murad suggested that the companies will work together on joint solutions in the future – solutions that will surely take advantage of Iris ID’s biometric technologies.
“The Remo+ product brand’s proven track record of designing and manufacturing home security cameras is a perfect complement to Iris ID leadership in the biometric security industry,” Murad said, adding, “Iris ID looks forward to further collaboration with Olive and Dove for future product development in this market.”
The partnership’s announcement offers the latest sign of Iris ID’s rising profile internationally, arriving after the company made the 2020 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies, and in the wake of a contract to bring biometric time and attendance solutions to three hotels in Iraq.
Last week, Iris ID commercially launched its new IrisTime biometric time and attendance device: a touchless device that leverages fusion iris and face authentication to streamline workforce management.
