Princeton Identity is looking to build up its customer base in the Middle East and Africa. To that end, the company has formed a new partnership with Emphor Trading LLC, an Abu Dhabi-based security specialist that has agreed to market Princeton’s face and iris recognition technology to potential clients in 25 countries throughout the region.
Emphor operates as a division of ScreenCheck, which is itself a subsidiary of the UAE’s broader Centena Group. The company acts as both a distributor and installer of security technology, and can work with a client to deliver a custom security system that is fully integrated with that organization’s existing infrastructure. The full Emphor portfolio includes ID cards, surveillance, attendance, and access control solutions, all of which have been provided to clients in sectors ranging from government and education to retail, oil, and manufacturing.
Princeton’s solutions, meanwhile, are designed to support contactless access control. The company’s terminals verify someone’s identity with face and iris biometrics, both of which negate the need for traditional authenticators like PIN codes or cards. Princeton’s entire line of biometric identity solutions will be available through the Emphor partnership.
“Partnership with Princeton Identity is part of our commitment to our customers for the continuous delivery of enhanced security solutions from our portfolio,” said ScreenCheck COO Shaji Abdul. “We are confident that PI’s global track record in implementing high-end biometric security solutions will benefit government and large corporate customers in the UAE.”
“Emphor Trading’s elite clientele require their security installations to meet the most stringent standards for reliability, accuracy, and convenience, and we’re pleased to create technology that exceeds this high threshold,” added Princeton President Bobby Varma.
Princeton’s technology can be used for both physical and digital access control. The company’s iris recognition technology has also been integrated into Future Trend’s time and attendance management solution.
