Kurt Wherley has signed on as Iris ID’s new Director of Sales for Workforce Management in North America. Wherley will bring more than 30 years of experience to the position, and joins the company after 17 years at Schlage Biometrics.
As Iris ID’s new Sales Director, Wherley will be asked to find new customers for the company’s new IrisTime workforce management platform, which uses face and iris recognition to identify employees when they arrive at work. Wherley has dealt with time and attendance solutions throughout his career, both at Schlage, where he worked as a national account manager for time and attendance, and in prior stops at Identatronics and Amano Cincinnati.
“Kurt’s vast experience provides him with deep insights into the workforce management needs of small businesses to enterprise organizations throughout North America,” said Iris ID Global Sales and Business Development VP Mohammed Murad. “We’re confident he will drive dramatic growth for our time and attendance solutions.”
“Iris ID is revolutionizing the time and attendance function with an accurate and flexible platform designed for today’s modern workforce,” added Wherley. “This position is a great fit for me and my experience in workforce management.”
IrisTime debuted in September, and has since been named as the “Best Facial/Iris Recognition” solution at the 2020 ASTOR Awards. The Android-based platform allows software developers to build their own custom time management solutions, and comes with a standard app in cases in which an out-of-the-box alternative will suffice.
