Invixium has been named as Frost & Sullivan’s 2020 Entrepreneurial Company of the Year. The company was able to distinguish itself from the competition with its rapid response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The award was presented after a comprehensive analysis of the global biometric access control market. Frost & Sullivan specifically commended Invixium for its IXM TITAN access control products, and the new Enhancement Kit that the company released to bring temperature screening to the IXM TITAN line to help monitor the spread of the coronavirus.
“Invixium produces industry-leading access control products with the high security of multimodal biometric technology in a sleek design that is easy for enterprises to install and for end users to operate,” said Frost & Sullivan Industry Manager Nandini Bhattacharya. “Its focus on designing a robust product that supports a range of technologies has allowed Invixium to create a market niche in a short span of time.”
“We are proud to offer relevant products and serve our customers with the finest team of engineers supporting our technologies,” said Invixium President and CEO Shiraz Kapadia. “The Invixium team is committed to delivering innovative solutions to address the needs of the real-world at an unprecedented pace.”
Invixium was one of the first companies to note that the pandemic was creating much more demand for contactless biometrics solutions. The company had previously advised organizations not to abandon their biometric security practices, and has since worked to meet the demand for technology that is both sanitary and secure.
The Toronto-based Invixium recently established a new base of operations in the US, and partnered with CQR Security Ltd to expand its reach in the UK and Ireland. Frost & Sullivan, meanwhile, presented buguroo with its 2020 European Technology Innovation Award to recognize the company for its bugFraud behavioral biometrics solution.
