“Biometrics have experienced a steady growth in Mexico, and SIASA is known for its longevity and expertise in biometric security.” – Shiraz Kapadia, President & CEO, Invixium
Invixium has formed a new distribution partnership with SIASA. The latter company sells biometric hardware and software throughout Latin America, and will now have the exclusive right to sell Invixium’s various products to its customers in Mexico.
Invixium is best known for its IXM TITAN biometric terminal, which is geared towards access control. The company has released several new products in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including an Enhancement Kit that introduced temperature detection capabilities. The company was later named as Frost & Sullivan’s Entrepreneurial Company of the Year in recognition of its timely response to the coronavirus.
Many of Invixium’s products support contactless authentication. The company has previously noted that COVID-19 has created more demand for touchless biometrics.
“Biometrics have experienced a steady growth in Mexico,” said Invixium President and CEO Shiraz Kapadia. “Partnering with SIASA allows Invixium to reach this key market with our portfolio of contactless products at the perfect time, and to work with one of the most experienced security distributors in Mexico.”
“Our customers demand products that are innovative and durable, and now they need security products that account for employee health and safety,” added SIASA Commercial Director Fernando Loret de Mola. “Invixium’s unique offerings will be supported by SIASA’s expert salesforce, so we believe this partnership will add incredible value to our partners’ operations.”
Invixium recently formed a similar distribution partnership with CQR Security, which will market the company’s products to customers in the UK and Ireland. The Toronto-based biometric specialist has also opened new headquarters in the United States.
