Invixium is targeting the Egyptian market through a new distribution partnership with EMS. The deal will make Invixium’s entire technology portfolio more readily available to EMS’ existing network of customers in the country.
EMS itself is an active player in the IoT industry, while Invixium is best known for its IXM TITAN biometric readers. The TITAN identifies registered users with facial recognition, and it can be deployed at the front gate for access control, or integrated into a timekeeping system to help businesses manage their personnel. The contactless device also offers mask detection and temperature screening thanks to updates that were introduced in response to COVID-19.
In that regard, Invixium noted that the TITAN can help maintain safe workplaces during the pandemic. The rugged device is well-suited to a wide range of environments, and can ensure that people are healthy when they come to work and are wearing their mask properly.
“The Egyptian market demands high security that is rugged and modern to meet the needs of a variety of businesses,” said EMS Managing Director Hisham Allam. “We are excited to offer our customers the latest in technology from Invixium to help make businesses more secure, more productive, and healthier overall.”
“Constant growth by bringing on new, respected partners is critical for Invixium,” added Wisam Yaghmour, Invixum’s Senior Sales Director for the MENA region. “Touchless access control and health screening are reliable, accurate solutions for today’s needs that are certain to add incredible value for EMS’s customers.”
In November, Invixium opened a new office in Dubai in an effort to raise its profile in the MENA territory. The company has since formed separate distribution agreements with Open Options and Gallagher Security. The latter integrated Invixum’s IXM WEB software into its own Command Centre access control platform earlier in the year.
