Invixium has acquired Triax Technologies, a US-based firm specializing in Real-Time Location Systems and workforce productivity solutions.
Invixium, meanwhile, is based in Toronto, and specializes in touchless biometric solutions designed to enhance security and employee safety. Invixium’s offerings include the IXM TITAN and IXM TFACE. These products integrate face and fingerprint recognition, liveness detection, and mask detection, aimed at addressing a growing demand for contactless access control solutions.
The IXM TITAN, a flagship product, is particularly noted for its dual-camera system and ability to function in harsh environments, making it suitable for industrial applications like mining and petrochemicals.
The company’s solutions portfolio will now expand to include additional technologies that can help to enhance clients’ operations. Triax’s flagship solution, Spot-r, is a productivity platform that uses wearable tags to collect and transmit data in real time, allowing administrators to detect workflow areas that are slowing down operations and to address the underlying issues.
“We’ve identified more real-world problems to solve,” explained Invixium President and CEO Shiraz Kapadia. “With the addition of Triax, we now offer comprehensive end-to-end solutions—from secure entry points to the entire operational environment.”
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
