The South Carolina-headquartered company, which has been recognized as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies, will focus on recruiting engineers to support its research and development initiatives. The expanded facility will advance IB’s technology portfolio, which includes infant identification systems and software tools for biometric system integration.
Reid Baker, Research and Development Manager for Integrated Biometrics, emphasized the company’s commitment to the local community, stating, “We are excited to continue our presence in Chandler and provide more space for our talented employees to continue pushing the company forward.” Baker also acknowledged the valuable partnership with the City of Chandler’s Economic Development team in facilitating the expansion.
Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke welcomed the expansion, noting, “Chandler is fortunate to have companies of all sizes working on the leading edge of technology. Integrated Biometrics is a wonderful example of a small, innovative company adding great job opportunities for our Chandler residents.”
The expansion builds upon IB’s recent technological achievements, including the launch of “Mannix,” which the company claims is the world’s smallest and lightest FBI-certified palm scanner. Founded in 2002, Integrated Biometrics manufactures its products in Asia and the United States, specializing in fingerprint scanners, biometric system integration software, and contactless identification applications.
The new experience center will enable visitors to test and evaluate biometric applications through interactive exhibits, featuring both IB products and partner technologies. This facility expansion strengthens the company’s research and development capabilities while contributing to Chandler’s technology sector.
